It was by God’s grace that I was saved on my seventh birthday. The Lord also blessed me greatly by allowing me to grow up in a Christian home. During my senior year of high school I knew that the Lord was calling me to be a missionary, specifically to unreached people groups who did not have a Bible. I attended Pensacola Christian College and received my B.A. in Missions with a minor in Biblical Language and a desire to get into Bible translation. My preparation for the field continued when I studied Linguistics at Baptist Bible Translators Institute. After a trip to PNG, the Lord confirmed His calling and I surrendered to be a missionary to Papua New Guinea. I am working with John and Marciana Gillispie, missionaries to the Akoye people. I will assist them in the ministry anyway they need. My focus will be evangelism, discipleship, and learning the language. Once I learn the Akoye language, I plan to help in translation of materials that will strengthen future Akoye believers. My sending church is Tabernacle Baptist Church in Tioga, PA. I will be posting updates on my blog:
