After several delays, John and Selina received their three-year multi-entry visas on February 14, 2008. Soon after, Brother Bob and Leonora Schmidt, from Gloryland Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, worked out their flight schedule and arranged for their tickets. John and Selina are to arrive in Lae, Morobe Province, early on Sunday morning, March 10, 2008.

Once preliminary business affairs are completed in Lae, they will fly from the coast up into the Kamea region and head over the mountain to begin their ministry among the Kamea people, working with Matt and Becky Allen.

John says, “God has been good to us during our entire deputation ministry. The Lord blessed us with many new friends, and we were blessed to witness many decisions made in meetings. Our hearts have been invested in missions for over a quarter century, and finally we are able to enter into the joy of serving our Savior among the Kamea people of Papua New Guinea. God’s people have upheld us with prayer, supported us with finances, and encouraged us with communication. All the glory goes to our Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord!”
